The Revolutionary, Modular MAXTM Bagging Machine

The dependable Sharp MAXTM maximizes packaging flexibility and minimizes system complexity. The design of the Sharp MAXTM utilizes fewer moving parts and fewer machine motions, which translates to lower operating and maintenance costs and longer machine life. We work hard and pride ourselves in taking care of our customers AFTER the sale.

The Sharp MAXTM incorporates innovative enhancements such as optical indexing for improved registration, a height adjustable frame and a rotating packaging surface.

Sharp MAXTM

The Sharp MAXTM can be configured for optimal semi-automatic or fully automatic performance. Operators can sit or stand, systems can be adjusted to accommodate infeed units, and the packaging plane can be adjusted for part(s) geometry.

The MAXTM comes standard without a printer. An integrated printer (MAX-IP) or Standard Printer (MAX-SB) are common configurations of the MAXTM.

Markets served: Medical/Pharmaceutical/Dental, Industrial, Mail Order, Hardware, Fastener, among others

Roll bagger with built in thermal imprinter for real time imprinting at the point of packaging. Prints first bag out!

The MAX-IPTM* has enhanced simplification for printing and packaging database-driven applications. With the Datamax Prodigy Max imprinting system positioned just behind the indexing drive rollers, the system prints the bag that is to be packaged. The system comes standard with a Color Touchscreen Control Panel, which has built-in production indicators and diagnostics for troubleshooting. The unique flip-up print head design offers quicker, simpler maintenance and service.

Markets Served: Mail Order Catalog Houses, Internet Fulfillment Centers, Pharmaceutical Packaging

RBI 2000TM MAX*
Roll Bag Indexer with
In-Line Thermal Imprinter

Sharp Packaging Systems' revolutionary RBI 2000TM (Roll Bag Indexer), allows a customer with a wicketted bag or staple pack operation to convert to the ease and versatility of E-Z Bags®, Sharp's roll style bag in a box.

This simple, maintenance free packaging system is engineered for labor savings and improved packaging productivity. This benefits the customer with continuous packaging, more throughput and less downtime. The RBI 2000TM can be rolled up to, and adjusted to, the height of any standard drop sealer, band sealer, or closure system available on the market.

Markets Served: Textile, catalog, mail order, fulfillment.
Limitations of wicketted and staple pack bag systems:
  • Wicketted bags and staple packs are limited to 250-300 bags per pack.
  • The customer pays for un-used material - there is much material waste at the top of each wicketted or pack of bags.
  • Side seals can be a problem on thicker gauge wicketted and staple packs.
  • Staples can become a hazard to certain packaging applications, especially in the food industry.
  • Operators must dispose of wickets, washers, cardboard headers.
