Sprinter Marker

Sprinter Marking

Sprinter Marking offers both in-line and off-line code-marking machines. The in-line machine is independently mountable and offered in eight standard models of various sizes of marking heads. The off-line model is a stand alone benchtop model that may use any one of the eight standard Sprinter models. It comes assembled for immediate operation after air supply attachment, electrical plug in, and ink supply charging is completed. A foot switch is standard.

Print -A-Mark ฎ Stripe-It

Simplify your tire striping process with Matthews Print-A-Mark Stripe-It. The Strip-It is an unbelievably simple, clean and economical solution for tire identification. The Stripe-It places a continuous bright stripe on extruded tread stock without the mess associated with conventional stripping methods. Although designed for tire applications, the Stripe-It can also be used for continuous web printing.
The Stripe-It consists of a bracket assembly, which holds a one or four liter bottle of ink equipped with a special cap and stripping head, that easily mounts over the line. With no tools required, the unit easily adjusts for thread thickness to consistently apply stripes in a variety of colors and widths.

Applications

Calendar fabric, beads, belts, inner tubes & batch stock
Striping for tire ID
Striping on extruded plastics
Tread marking on centerline striping

Print -A-Mark ฎ DryDot

The Matthews Print-A-Mark DryDot is a reciprocating marking system that utilizes a non-toxic, solid ink which is heated in a special cartridge. The result is a high quality, solid dot that can be applied to your product or package. The compact design of the DryDot is ideal for those production lines, which have space limitations. The unit is equipped with a quick-release ink cartridge making ink or color changeover fast and easy. Simply drop in the ink cartridge and walk away. No liquid inks, no solvents and no mess. The DryDot offers the users a versatile yet simple solution to handle many quality control/quality assurance applications.
To improve printing production, the DryDot Marking System can be equipped with a Low Ink Warning Module. This system frees the operator from frequent ink level checks and eliminates the "out-of-ink" condition.

Applications

High point marking, TUO's
Inspection marking on metal products
Quality control marks for the automotive industry

Print -A-Mark ฎ Hot Print Thermo Branders

Both units use heated steel type to form a crisp indented mark

When you need a permanent mark on extruded plastic products, the Matthews Hot Print continuous rotary brander can get the job done. This friction-driven system is ideal when ink marking alone does meet code requirements. Available in two styles, with or without foil, both units use heated still type to form a crisp indented mark that is permanently imbedded in plastic pipe and other in-line extrusions.
Available in two styles, with or without foil, both units use heated steel type to form a crisp indented mark that is permanently imbedded in plastic pipe and other in-line extrusions. The resulting mark is abrasion-resistant, marking the product suitable for both outdoor and underground use.

For a high-contrast mark, the Thermo Foil brander ads the option of embedding a colored foil into the branded mark. The result is a highly visible, yet permanent mark on ABS, polybutylene, polyethylene, PVC and Styrene.

Installing a Hot Print Model 4015 Brander on your extrusion line is effortless. The systems come complete with a mounting stand and deluxe guide rolls to accommodate pipe ranging in size from 1/2" to 8" (12.5 mm - 200.8 mm).

Applications

Indenting/Branding for permanent codes on plastics
Plastic heat branding without ink

Print -A-Mark ฎ Offset Printing Systems

Matthews Print-A-Mark™ Industrial Offset Printers are used for a variety of industrial applications. With their wide array of inks, they are used to mark a variety of materials including: rubber, plastics, metals, glass, wood and much more.
Offset ink in an ink fountain is picked up by a rotating ink roll. Before the ink is transferred to a type wheel, it is metered to a desired film thickness by a doctor blade. After the type wheel is inked, an impression of the legend is transferred to the blanket roll which marks the product.
The standard drive mode for Matthews offset printers is provided by the friction between the blanket roll and the moving product or part.

Applications

Automated marking on glass products
Bead marking
Calendar fabric, beads, belts, inner tubes & batch stock
End grain lumber marking
Etching or printing logos on windows
Galvanized steel marking
Grade marking engineered wood products
